I enjoyed watching your elevator pitch because it was really relatable to everyone's experience with a paper straw. I don't like paper straws for the exact reason you pointed out, they become soggy in any drink you put them in. Your opening also caught my attention and I liked how you spoke with confidence because it made me feel like you knew exactly what you're talking about. Maybe add some information on how much revenue you'd make!
You have a great confidence. So far, you have come up with a product, but not quite the other revenue drivers. Maybe the same company would produce cups and lids out the the same material that is biodegradable. Maybe throw in napkins with your logo. I have seen biodegradable straws like the one you described, feeling like plastic and being made out of plants. I am interested in what you would do that would be different from what the already existing companies are doing.
Hey Danielle, I decided to watch this elevator pitch since I feel a strong way towards paper straws and their ineffectiveness. I've personally experienced a paper straw getting soggy and it ultimately ruined the whole drink. Aside from that, I loved the confidence that was exemplified in the pitch since that's the type of quality that will get the attention of customers. Having that type of confidence shows a type of mastery of the material.
Hey Danielle, I enjoyed your elevator pitch and thought you did a great job explaining the need for your idea, and also how your idea would work. The only suggestion I have is to think of a way to get a more engaging hook, before you introduce yourself. Great job!
